I'm really only sure about Mike and Curly; no doubt there are others, and I like to think that if they can't have a pint with us, they are having one with Mike.Balefirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06251575554875520546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1510119915523637726.post-33752916182601806912012-11-14T17:41:36.464+09:002012-11-14T17:41:36.464+09:00Just wanted to say thanks for your Mike Marklew eu...Just wanted to say thanks for your Mike Marklew eulogy, which came up when, eyes glazing over as I struggled over a deathly boring translation job, i googled the old goat to see what he was up to. You're right - he's probably eternally tipping one or 10 at the harp and bat's wing, lucky dog.

Good man and a good buddy back in the day. My dentist was around the corner from the Black Lion in those days and he provided more than a few pain-killing pints.

Raise one for the King of Ebisu, Miguel, and buy a round for all the departed Ebisu crew members who are probably sitting there with you. Miss you all!

Thanks for indulging this, sir, and once again for your kind words.jjnoreply@blogger.com
